Description
This poster (pulled from our archives, printed in 1984) was created by San Francisco artist John Wullbrandt to mark the second season of the San Francisco Historic Trolley Festival.
It shows a group of historical San Franciscans, both real and fictional, riding westbound on Market Street between Stockton and Powell Streets, aboard 1934 Blackpool, England open-topped “Boat Tram” #226, followed by 1929 Oporto, Portugal streetcar #189.
Poster is shipped rolled in tube along with a list of the Boat Tram’s famous occupants.
