Muni’s F-line vintage streetcars and landmark cable cars need your vote on two measures today.

Passing San Francisco Proposition H and the five-county Regional Transit Measure (RTM on the ballot) is a must-do to avoid service cuts all across Muni. The historic service could possibly suffer disproportionate cuts. In a worst-case scenario, F-line streetcars could even be replaced by buses.
As a City agency, Muni cannot directly advocate for a ballot measure. But Market Street Railway, as an independent nonprofit support group, can and does. If you haven’t yet voted, please vote YES on Proposition H, which solely benefits Muni, and on RTM. Those of you in the other RTM counties know that BART is the major beneficiary of it, but agencies in the counties, including Muni, also receive help. Importantly, if BART is curtailed, Muni will automatically get worse in San Francisco.
Our nonprofit gets no government money, and never has. We depend on you, supporters of historic transit, to fund us with your donations. You can help at this link. Thanks.
