The E-line terminal should be within walking distance of the Presidio Main Post, its historic buildings enjoying a rennaisance as offices for nonprofits and small businesses. |

2. Crissy Field
The extended E-line should serve the Crissy Field Environmental Center, at the west end of the newly-restored tidal marsh and greensward, providing access to this new recreation resource. |

3. Letterman Digital Arts Center
The new Letterman Digital Arts Center, occupied by the companies of legendary filmmaker George Lucas, will be within walking distance of the Presidio E-line terminal. |

4. Palace of Fine Arts
The romantic remnant of the 1915 World's Fair is a favorite of visitors. In addition, the popular hands-on childrens' science museum, the Exploratorium, is currently housed within. |

5. Fort Mason Center
The E-line would provide much-needed public transportation to the teeming Fort Mason Center, home to numerous nonprofits, classes, public events, theatres, and concerts. |

6. Aquatic Park
The alignment for the E-line through Aquatic Park hasn't been selected, but likely routings would bring riders closer to Municipal Pier, the Maritime Museum, the Hyde Street Pier, and the Ghirardelli Square complex. |

7. Fisherman's Wharf
The E-line would provide badly-needed additional service to attractions such as Restaurant Row, the historic harbor, Pier 39, the Cannery, the Museum of San Francisco at Pier 45, Alcatraz ferries, and more. |

8. Pier 27 Complex
The E-line would be the ideal way for people to visit the large recreational complex planned for Pier 27, alleviating traffic on The Embarcadero by up to 5,000 riders per day. |

9. Pier 7
The E-line would open up more of the waterfront to more people, both San Franciscans and visitors alike, to explore waterfront attractions, such as Pier 7 with its stunning views. |

10. Ferry Building
The E-line would provide transit access for thousands to the newly-restored Ferry Building, both for the trans-bay ferries, and for the wonderful specialty markets now located within the historic edifice. |

11. Cruise Ship Terminal
The E-line would stop at the future James R. Herman International Cruise Terminal at Piers 30-32, providing historic transit for thousands of visitors to historic locations and transfer points along the waterfront. |

12. SBC Park
The E-line would provide an important additional public transit alternative to and from the baseball games at the Giants' beautiful ballpark at China Basin. |

13. Mission Bay
The E-line would share the Third Street light rail tracks through this new UCSF campus, residential and business neighborhood, providing direct service to the northern waterfront and the Presidio. |

14. Pier 70 Complex
Whether it becomes the new home of the Exploratorium, or finds some other use, there's no question that this historic industrial complex has a vibrant, busy future. |
