| The great early 20th Century urban planner, Daniel Hudson Burnham, famously said, “Make no small plans. They have no magic to stir humanity’s blood...Make big plans.”
While reviving vintage transit service isn’t in the same league as world peace, the appearance of the colorful historic streetcar fleet on San Francisco’s streets certainly did stir many people’s blood in positive ways, bringing smiles to faces and helping enliven the streetscapes where it runs.
