| This car, the only one in the collection still owned by our nonprofit organization, is a key part of our educational program. Our plans call for restoring it to original condition and transferring it to Muni to be used both in regular service and as a special service car for school kids’ field trips. It will contain a variety of displays that teach the basics about electricity and motors, the impact of streetcars on urban development, the importance of transit to vibrant cities, and much more.
